Terms of Service

EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 20, 2026

1. 01Who we are

   ASTRIX CONNECT (the “Service”) is operated by Tidal Systems LLC (“Tidal”, “we”, “us”), a limited liability company based in the United States. You can reach us at support@tidalwebs.com.

   By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. 02What the Service is

   ASTRIX CONNECT is a directory and networking tool for entrepreneurs, organized by city. Members list a short profile, browse other members near them, and send connection requests. We provide the platform; we do not vet members, guarantee introductions, or take part in anything members arrange with each other.

3. 03Eligibility and your account

   You must be at least 18 years old and using the Service for your own business or professional purposes. You agree to give accurate information, keep your password private, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.

   One person, one account. You may not create accounts for other people, sell or transfer an account, or use automated tools to create accounts.

4. 04Free accounts and the Verified badge

   ASTRIX CONNECT is free. Every account is listed on the map and in the member list, can view every other member’s full profile and links, and can send and accept connection requests.

   Verified is an optional paid add-on: a badge next to your name and a higher position in the member list relative to unverified members in the same area. It does not unlock content or features that other members lack, and we may add further Verified benefits over time. Verified costs $8.00 USD per month, billed in advance, and renews automatically every month until you cancel. Prices are shown before you pay and may change with at least 30 days’ notice by email; a change never applies until your next renewal after the notice.

   Verified means you pay for the badge. It is not a statement by us about your identity, business, or claims, and we may remove it from any account that violates these Terms.

5. 05Payments, cancellation, and refunds

   Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. By subscribing to Verified you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method each month until you cancel.

   You can cancel at any time from your Account page under Manage Billing, or by emailing support@tidalwebs.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; you keep the badge until then and are not charged again. Because Verified is month-to-month and cancelable at any time, payments are not refunded for partial months, except where required by law or where we choose to at our discretion.

   If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it and will notify you at your account email. If it continues to fail, the badge is removed until payment succeeds. Your account and profile are unaffected.

6. 06Your profile and content

   You own what you post: your name, bio, description, links, and photo (“Content”). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your Content within the Service so that other members can see it. That license ends when you delete the Content or your account, except for copies that other members have already seen or that remain in backups for a short time.

   Your name, city, one-line description, and photo are visible to anyone who is signed in, and your full profile and links to any signed-in member who opens it. Do not post anything you would not want other members to see.

7. 07Conduct

   Use the Service to meet and work with other entrepreneurs. Do not use it to spam, harass, impersonate anyone, recruit for multi-level marketing, scrape or export member data, send unsolicited mass messages, post anything unlawful or infringing, or interfere with the Service or other members’ use of it.

   We may remove Content, decline connection requests on your behalf, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe put other members at risk. Where practical we will tell you why.

8. 08Ending your account

   You can stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account and profile, cancel any Verified subscription and email support@tidalwebs.com from your account address; we will remove your profile within 30 days. We may close accounts that have been inactive for more than two years after notifying the account email.

9. 09Disclaimers

   The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not verify members’ identities, businesses, or claims, and we make no promises about the outcome of any connection. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. 10Limitation of liability

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tidal will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or $50, whichever is greater.

    Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places these limits apply only to the extent permitted.

11. 11Governing law and disputes

    These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to email us and give us 30 days to try to resolve it. Any dispute that is not resolved will be brought in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

12. 12Changes to these Terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material we will email the address on your account at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the updated Terms. The date at the top of this page is always the version in force.
